Description: ------------ I've just reported a bug using my Mac's Safari (Version 3.1.1 (4525.18)) without using any newlines in the description. The resulting description in the bug report looks like it had some newlines inserted and it looks hard to read. Perhaps just not insert newlines and let the text wrap? If you intentionally insert newlines for email reasons/whatever then something else has gone wrong here. You could probably just read this description, or if it happens to work properly please see the description for the following bug: http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=14008 Expected result: ---------------- Nicely formatted text Actual result: -------------- Badly formatted text

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem with the package. Unfortunately you are not using a current version of the package -- the problem might already be fixed. Please download a new version from http://pear.php.net/packages.php If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest versions, please change the package version on this bug report to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open". Again, thank you for your continued support of PEAR. I don't believe this is happening anymore.

After copy pasting the lines you wrote David I did not have this problem on my local copy.

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better. Closing this one - David if you can reproduce it again, please open this report again
