Description: ------------ "config-get" does not retrieve channel-specific values but default ones only. Internally, pear uses the channel specific values e.g. for http-auth. Test script: --------------- cweiske:~/Dev/cvs/pear/peardoc> pear config-set -c dc username name_on_dc config-set succeeded cweiske:~/Dev/cvs/pear/peardoc> pear config-set username normal_name config-set succeeded cweiske:~/Dev/cvs/pear/peardoc> pear config-get username normal_name cweiske:~/Dev/cvs/pear/peardoc> pear config-get -c dc username normal_name

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better. This got fixed when we fixed Bug #13031
