Description: ------------ Bugs where the reporter has not confirmed his or her identity still show up in the bug statistics, both for developers and packages, as well as in the open bug lists. Of course, the developer can't actually view the bug, so this seems slightly odd to me. Instead we could have a new bug state for these bugs ("Account Pending", perhaps) so that they need to explicitly searched for (or at least stand out from open/assigned bugs), then kick them into the "Open" state once the account has been confirmed. Alternately, developers could just be allowed to view bugs regardless of the reporter's confirmation status, but that opens a whole new can of worms in terms of getting feedback and the like.

Now developers can view the unconfirmed reports, i.e. pear.dev karma people

this can be implemented by putting the registered link in the bugdb, and simply mirroring the value from users. This way, we can speed up the query substantially (no joining necessary)

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release. Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.
