Description: ------------ Hi! I have trouble installing and/or upgrading pear-packages on my Debian 3.1 (Sarge) system. Following php_packages are installed debian:~# dpkg-query -l|grep php4 ii php4 4.4.4-0.dotdeb server-side, HTML-embedded scripting languag ii php4-cli 4.4.4-0.dotdeb command-line interpreter for the php4 script ii php4-common 4.4.4-0.dotdeb Common files for packages built from the php ii php4-eaccelera 4.4.4-0.dotdeb eaccelerator module for php4 ii php4-gd 4.4.4-0.dotdeb GD module for php4 ii php4-imap 4.4.4-0.dotdeb IMAP module for php4 ii php4-mcrypt 4.4.4-0.dotdeb MCrypt module for php4 ii php4-mysql 4.4.4-0.dotdeb MySQL module for php4 ii php4-pear 4.4.4-0.dotdeb PEAR - PHP Extension and Application Reposit When I try to install i.e. XML_RPC package I get following debian:~# pear install xml_rpc Warning: popen() has been disabled for security reasons in OS/Guess.php on line 246 Warning: fgets(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in OS/Guess.php on line 248 Warning: pclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in OS/Guess.php on line 256 downloading XML_RPC-1.5.1.tgz ...
