HTML_Common wasn't installed - isn't there any dependency?!? sorry for posting this as a bug-report.

Solution: download HTML_Common manually and copy it over pear/HTML/Common.php (files differ) For me it works now byer W

I am still encountering this problem after upgrading both HTML_quickform and HTML_common to latest versions. Strangely the problem only occurs on my remote server (Linux) and not on my local (Windows).
