Description: ------------ This is duplicate bug, but previous one was closed while in PHP-4.3.10 is not fixed yet. go-pear.bat creates pear.bat with following "%PHP_PEAR_PHP_BIN%" -C -d output_buffering=1 -d register_argc_argv=On..... but for some reason php.exe doesn't understand register_argc_argv=On and argv is not set. The solution is either to set it via register_argc_argv=1 (1 vs On) or report it to bug.php.net as a windows CLI php.exe problem

It seems like it's a problem with pre-4.3.5 CLIs
