MySQL may allow it, but is this part of the normal SQL standard? It may be nice to have this supported in a mysql-compat mode, but I wouldn't see it as a bug of the parse unless this is part of the SQL standard.

depends on bug #11472 or to say it better this is also fixed with attached patch on bug #11472

This bug has been fixed in CVS. If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET). If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly. Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release.
